味甘，平，無毒，主心腹痛、疰忤、鬼氣、邪穢之屬，並就泉空腹飲之。時代升平，則醴泉湧出。讀古史大有此水，亦以新汲者佳。止熱、消渴及反胃腹痛、霍亂爲上。
