出瓜州，此物有五種，合鍊道中，多用黄白，餘者不多入用。黄礬形如金，打破有金星葉點文，揩著銀上，便爲黄色，能制水銀住汞，汞即著上不落，似馬牙形，燒色上碎末者，不堪用。
