大安己巳七月，師在北京華陽觀。時久旱，在城官民懇禱於師曰：苗將槁矣，安得重蘇。師乃閉目良久，復謂衆曰：虚空許雨一尺，降於來日。衆未純信，翌日果驗。官民致謝，作此絶以示之。外國使謁辭不相見
