夫仁者必有勇，勇者不必有仁；智者能愚，愚者不必能智。故聖人時通則見其巧而建其功，時否則見其拙而昧其跡。故孔明序曰：太公八十非不遇也，蓋審其主焉。嗚呼，性命巧拙之時，識達行藏之勢，可以觀變察機，運用五賊。所以然者，夫聖人所以深衷遠照，動不失機，觀天料人，應時而作。故易曰：知進退存亡而不失其正者，其惟聖人乎？
