元袁桷延祐四明志十五祠祀攷曰：神姓李，名顯忠。高宗避難，神扈駕防送御舟出海，祥飆送颿，賜爵猛將，重節武功大夫。水旱疫癘，蕃船海舶，有禱輒應，撥官地一片，興建祠宇。
