畫必須靜坐凝神，存想何處是山，何處一是水，何處足樓閣、寺觀、村莊、籬落，何䖏是橋梁、人物、車舟，然後下筆，則丘壑纔新。不然，任意揮灑，非不可人，便是套頭矣。及至得了新丘壑，又好住手，却多一番蛇足。
