未鍊還丹須急鍊，鍊了還須知止足。若也持盈未已心，不免一朝遭殆辱。
袁公輔曰：金液還丹之未鍊，是爲愚癡。若鍊而不知止，則反傷其丹。故鍾離詩曰：藥熟不須行火候，更行火候必傷丹。
