道生之章第五十一

臣眞述曰：夫乾道無情而生，坤德無情而畜，是以物得流形，勢得化成，故萬物莫不尊道而貴德，道尊德貴，皆自然受天之爵禄也。其孰能有封建者乎，於是王侯則而象之，言王者當宜生畜長育成熟養覆萬物，而不失其時，仍不有其功，不恃其力，絶其宰割，息其鬬爭，夫如是，乃可謂合天之德也，故曰玄德。
