味辛、苦，平，有小毒。主三蟲，殺蟣蝨。生山谷中。取根皮作末，油和塗，蟣蝨皆死。

唐本註云：根皮赤，葉似楮，小圓厚，作小樹，抽條髙六七尺。岀襄州山谷，所在亦有，秦隴人名爲獨空。唐本先附。
