右符束縛百邪。凡有壇廟五通作怪之物，為民害，如門户開闔、塘池破壊，皆急取此符念呪恰訣，朱書鎮貼，即自消散。書呪符篆之時，面北存身為孝道明王、靈寳淨明天尊，四聖執符而行。
