夏馥者，不知何許人也。少好道，常服术和雲毋。後入吳山，遇赤須先生，傳之要法。又遇桐栢眞人，授之黃水雲漿法，行之得道。馥少時被公府辟書，致於桑樹，乃去。當時咸服其高邁。
