曹監臨，不知何許人。投三蕐爲道士，常若痴呆，自謂：吾老實，當作監臨。人遂呼之，輒應。嗜狗肉，人呼爲曹狗亦應。嘗摘茶醉臥園𣗳下，喚之不醒。至日斜，住持曰：天且晚，喚曹歸喫飯。衆蹴之曰：我在延平人家喫齊，何爲呼我？未得終席，人以爲妄，乃出袖中生荔枝數枚，人始異之。後不知所終。元
