漢熹平中令兹邑，築南溪塘三十里，號曰南湖。民懷其德，立廟湖上。唐長慶中，封太平靈衛王，俗所祀天曹神是也。歐陽修唐書地理志記歸珧聞湖築甬道，因渾舊迹。
