Great Ocean Water (Da Hai Shui)
Nayin: Water. Stems-branches: Ren-Xu, Gui-Hai.
Imagery
The boundless ocean. All rivers flow into it; it embraces everything. The ocean is the destination of all water—the grandest, most expansive.
Traits
- The mightiest Nayin Water. Governs inclusiveness, magnanimity, and depth.
- Fears nothing—no fire can evaporate it, no earth can block it.
- Note: Though powerful, "when water overflows it floods"—needs embankments (Earth restraint) to form a proper pattern.
