每气 六十日八十七刻半 365¼ ÷ 6古以一刻为百分日之一。运气大率三百六十五日二十五刻而周天,五分之得运、六分之得气;初运、初气皆起于大寒。 此处岁首已锚该岁大寒之真实交节时刻(寿星历算,精到分),按真实「大寒→次年大寒」回归年长等分,逐岁起止随天而移、亦含闰; 若取定气流派,则六气改以真·中气交节为界,步长不等。

2年干 → 化运(太过 / 不及) 输入年干「丙」输出水运 · 太过(流衍之纪)十干化运:甲己化土、乙庚化金、丙辛化水、丁壬化木、戊癸化火,故「丙」化水。再以年干奇阳偶阴定盛衰——阳干太过、阴干不及,「丙」属太过。
3年支 → 司天 · 在泉 输入年支「午」输出司天 少阴君火 在泉 阳明燥金以年支定司天:子午少阴、丑未太阴、寅申少阳、卯酉阳明、辰戌太阳、巳亥厥阴,「午」当少阴君火。在泉为司天对冲(隔三气相对),得阳明燥金。
